§ 9.66.050. Violation—Penalty.

    Any person convicted of violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars for each offense.

    B.

    It is unlawful for a parent, legal guardian or other person to knowingly permit or allow a person in his custody or legal control to commit a violation of Subsection 9.66.010C.

    C.

    A person who pleads guilty or is found guilty of violation of Subsection 9.66.010C, shall, on the first offense, be returned to school; on the second or subsequent offense the offender and his or her parents or guardian shall each be fined not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars.

    Whenever a monetary fine is assessed by the court pursuant to this Code, the court is further expressly authorized by the City of Morris to use dispositions including, but not limited to, court supervision, deferred judgment, conditional discharge, and suspended sentence.
