§ 2.48.140. Power to serve legal papers.

The chief of police and all patrolmen shall have the power and authority to serve writs, summons, warrants and other legal papers for the apprehension and commitment of persons charged with violation of any city ordinance, or charged with the commission of any crime, or misdemeanor, or offense against the laws of the city or state, or held for examination or trial.
