§ 2.16.130. Salary.

  • A.

    The salary of the city clerk shall be as follows:

    1.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1977, through and including April 30, 1978, fifteen thousand five hundred dollars;

    2.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1978, through and including April 30, 1979, fifteen thousand five hundred dollars;

    3.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1979, through and including April 30, 1980, fifteen thousand five hundred dollars;

    4.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1980, through and including April 30, 1981, fifteen thousand five hundred dollars;

    5.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1981, through and including April 30, 1982, eighteen thousand five hundred dollars;

    6.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1982, through and including April 30, 1983, nineteen thousand two hundred dollars;

    7.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1983, through and including April 30, 1984, nineteen thousand nine hundred dollars;

    8.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1984, through and including April 30, 1985, twenty thousand six hundred dollars.

    B.

    Effective May 1, 1977, the city clerk shall remit to the treasurer all fees and compensation received for the performance of his duties and services except for the wages and fringe benefits paid by the city itself to the city clerk.

    C.

    The fees and compensation which the city clerk shall remit to the treasurer shall include, but not be limited to, the fees for issuing fishing licenses provided in Illinois Revised Statutes Chapter 56, Section 5.22(b), the fees for issuing hunting licenses provided in Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 61, Section 3.37, and the fees for acting as local registrar for the State Registrar of Vital Records provided in Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 111—1/2 Section 73—9 (1), (2) and (3).

    D.

    The city clerk shall keep a current accounting of all fees and compensation received for the performance of his duties and services except for the wages and fringe benefits paid by the city itself to the city clerk.
