  § 2.08.130. Salary of aldermen.

  • The salary of the aldermen shall be as follows:

    A.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2017 through and including April 30, 2018, four thousand eight hundred dollars;

    B.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2018 through and including April 30, 2019, four thousand eight hundred dollars;

    C.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019 through and including April 30, 2020, four thousand eight hundred dollars;

    D.

    For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2020 through and including April 30, 2021, and each fiscal year thereafter, four thousand eight hundred dollars;

    E.

    In addition to the compensation set above, the Aldermen shall be paid the sum of twenty-five dollars per committee meeting pursuant to and in accordance with Sections 3.1-50.15(a) and (b) of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/3.1-50-15). The Compensation payable pursuant to this paragraph "E" shall not commence until May 1, 2017.
