§ 1.24.010. Description.

For the purposes of all elections for aldermen held after July 15, 2013, the city is divided into four wards as follows:

A.

First ward. The first ward shall be comprised of the area as described in Group Exhibit A.

B.

Second ward. The second ward shall be comprised of the area as described in Group Exhibit A.

C.

Third ward. The third ward shall be comprised of the area as described in Group Exhibit A.

D.

Fourth ward. The fourth ward shall be comprised of the area as described in Group Exhibit A.

The ward boundaries for each of the four wards of the City of Morris, Illinois, as designated and set forth in the map together with a description of the ward boundaries of each in words comprising, "Group Exhibit A," a copy of which are attached to Ordinance No. 3977 and hereby incorporated by reference, are hereby adopted as the ward boundaries for each of the four wards of the City of Morris, Illinois, in accordance with this section. If there is a discrepancy between the ward boundary description by words and the map herein referred to, the word description shall prevail.
