§ 17.57.100. Parking in yards.

  • Off-street parking spaces, open to the sky, may be located in required interior side yards, not less than five feet from the nearest lot line, except a parking area containing four or more parking spaces shall not be located nearer than twenty feet from a residence district boundary line; except as to churches existing at the time of the passage of the ordinance codified in this title, which shall comply with the business and commercial off-street parking requirements as set forth in the this title. In business and commercial districts, the required off-street parking spaces may be located in a front yard or side yard adjoining a street, not less than four feet from the stopping bumpers to the property line with a maximum two feet overhang.
