§ 17.06.756. Use, conditional permitted.

Latest version.
  • "Conditional permitted use" means a use that has unusual operational, physical, or other characteristics that may be different from those of the predominant permitted uses in a district, but which is a use that complements and is otherwise, or can be made, compatible with the intended overall development within a district. Compliance with special standards not necessarily applicable to other permitted use or conditional permitted uses in the district shall be required for a conditional permitted use, as regulated in this title. Any reference to a special use or special use permit shall have the same meaning as a conditional permitted use, and the terms shall be synonymous for all purposes in this chapter.
