§ 13.08.030. Separate connections.

  • There shall be separate service pipes laid from the main to each building wherever there is a water main laid in the front or rear of such buildings. Such service pipe shall be laid on a straight line at right angles to the water main and connection made within two lines drawn parallel to the sides of the building to be served or within three feet thereof. Where services are laid to premises where there are no water mains available for direct connections, a small temporary main will be permitted to be laid as provided in Sections 13.08.190 through 13.08.250. In all cases, each building served must have an independent service shut-off.
