§ 10.54.010. Bicycles—Regulations.

  • It is unlawful for more than one person to ride upon any bicycle propelled by human power upon any street except a bicycle equipped with an additional seat for passengers. It is unlawful to any person to ride, push or otherwise propel a bicycle on the street or sidewalk on Liberty Street, between Jackson Street and Washington Street, except to cross Liberty Street while proceeding on an intersecting street and except for the purpose of going to and leaving from a store for bicycle sales and services. When a person takes a bicycle to the store for bicycle sales and services, then he shall only travel that portion of the street or sidewalk on Liberty Street which is reasonably necessary to get to and from the store.
